So, what's the deal here?

Ok, so what I want to do here is create a platform for any Kawabi type to have a place to chat, vent, pontificate, reminisce, or just say hi.  I'd prefer an anything goes format, as long as you leave your mark.

What I hope is that this can create some sort of e-community for us Big Hawk ex-pats, a digital Hub if you will, by encouraging people to chime in and bring in others from camp, in an ever expanding network.  To do so, here's what has to happen.  Anyone can post a comment attached to a Blog entry, but the real meat are the entries themselves.  They can be an announcement, a simple statement, such as, "I never get tired of hearing the term 'in/out board'", to a brief explanation what councilor affected your camp experience, to an extensive critical treatise on the artificial socio-hierarchical constructs of camp culture.  In order to do so, you have to email me (at: nfurneaux@yahoo.com) your intent to join as a contributor to the Blog, so that I can grant access to you by listing you as a Blog contributor.  After that happens, you can publish posts at anytime of your choosing, along with granting others the ability to join up and become contributors.

So here's your chance to revel, relive, or excise some of those memories from those summers at that place we all had in common.  Think of something you'd like to share and write it down.  Not only is it therapeutic, but you know you wanna.
